My Sick Shoe Game

I’ve recently been finding shoes for great prices.  I’ll bring my latest fashion finds to you weekly  or as they come about.

First up, I’d been searching for cobalt shoes.  Preferably a pair that could be worn anywhere and most preferably suede(or suede-esque).  I found this pair during Forever 21’s BOGO Free Sale.  The color is rich they look and feel awesome!  All for 13.99.

I’m Baaaccckkk…4 good

Hello to those of you still checking in, and those who will view going forward.  I know no posts in 5 months, terrible.  I have truly been swamped with life, and can finally see some light emerging so that I can restart my blog.  Actually this time away has inspired me to become more serious and active.  I will release a posting schedule this week.  And I’m on the look out for more traffic and exposure.  Hang out, enjoy the journey because it’s about to get really interesting in here.

This outfit is comprised of one of my fave peices, a pink lace top with puffy sleeves that I bought from The Limited a while back. The chocolate pants are linen and from JCPenney also an older purchase.

Pixie Dislikes 2012

I have two products that I gave the old college try, last month.  Neither of them worked for me!

1.  GHD Thermal Protector for Normal/Fine Hair

First off, I don’t have Normal or Fine Hair!  But this product, which I got free from Sephora, made my hair hard and dry.  It has alcohol as the 2nd ingredient so that should have been a clue.  It smells of alcohol and feels like hair spritz.  I can’t use this on my hair!!

 

2.  Ultra Sheen Supreme Super Smooth & Hold Flat Iron Spray

Some one on Long Hair Care Forum gave this code for a freebie, I said what the hey, its free right?  Well once again, it didn’t work for my hair.  It had the same effect as the GHD, alcohol, dry, hard hair.

Hello!

Its been too long since I’ve updated, but my life has been super crazy! Nevertheless I’m back and with a vengeance. I’ve got a new job, tomorrow I’ll have new hair…all of which should give a new attitude!

I’ll update you later on 3 month life journey. Oh yeah I changed the blog name because I’m growing out my pixie, more on this later!

Pixie Jewelry

I bought some new jewelry yesterday…from Forever 21.  I thought I’d share what I got. 

I love anything remotely related to London.  So I thought this necklace was fitting:

When you are Pixie,  earrings are a must.  They can be big or small, but they are a must!  So these met the bill b/c they have tribal print.

H & M Opens Today in Texas!

 

Today is the day!   If you are near Dallas/Fort Worth, H&M makes its debut today at 12 noon in North Park Center.  It is the first of 3 stores set to open in DFW this year.  Town East Mall and Stonebriar Centre will both get a store before 2012!   I wish I could go today, but I will be there before the weekend is over!!

7.  70’s Fashion

When I think of the 70s, I think of what my mother used to wear in the late 70’s and early 80’s.  Midlength, 3/4 sleeve or cap sleeve, possibly pockets at the chest, and a tie or belt at the waist.  She was also fond of the bell bottom slack.  Which I love…and plaid is coming up in the in the countdown, nothing’s better than plaid bell bottoms!

I love these, flattering on most, if not all figures.

She’s BAAACCKKK!

I know its been a minute, but I’ve been researching, and searching to figure out what direction I wanted to take with this blog of mine.  I’m back on it, and the topics will be a lot more varied, as well as sticking to the initial focus, pixie cuts, hair, fashion, music, and more!
