I can’t believe this, but what do you bet she goes to Roc Nation management, gotta keep all the money in the “family”!!
For today’s face, I went with the coral them of the clothes that I was wearing. On my face I primed with Rimmel’s Fix and Perfect, then used Studio Fix Foundation(powder) in NC 45. I have been using ELF Tone Correcting Concealer to cover dark spots and undereye as well. I use the Spice color. I then contured with Wet and Wild’s Bronzer, and used NYX Cinnamon for blush today. I finished the look with MAC MSF Gold Deposit for highlighting. I dusted my entire face with Bobbi Brown‘s Bronzer. Eyebrows were done with MAC’s Eyebrow Crayon in Stud. My eyes are NYX Orange eyeshadow, and the crease is a brown from one of Wet and Wild’s Color Icon palettes. I’m wearing lashes from the beauty supply as well. My mascara is by Rimmel and its in the pink tube. This makeup is after a full day of work, as well.
Oh yeah, almost forgot, my lips…that is MAC’s Morange. When I bought it the MAC rep said you really like color, and I do, I love this lipstick. I toned it down with the MAC Chestnut pencil, but its really pretty without it as well.
Also my hair is growing!! I’m trying to grow my hair into a “faux” hawk…So I’m growing out the center of my hair, keeping the sides and back very low. I washed it yesterday and noticed growth…also I must rave about Nairobi’s Foam Wrap Lotion, I’ll d0 so on a seperate post.
Today I worked with the mixed print trend. I went with a coral and orange striped ruffled collar tank from Forever 21. I paired that with a navy 3/4 sleeve blazer from American Eagle Outfitters. I got the blazer on their clearance sale(which was still going on last weekend), they are giving an add’l 50% off all clearance items. The jacket was originally 60.00, and I copped it for 20, after all the discounts!
The scarf is from H & M, its all different colors, hot pink, orange, green, yellow, and black. My jeans are a dark wash and they are by Sour ‘n Cream, an urban brand I picked up in a local mall store. My accessories are from different spots…but I’ve highlighted my ring set from H & M and my favorite gold bangle, that I’ve had FOREVER, I don’t remember where I got it. My booties are Vince Camuto that I got from Dillard’s clearance sale off sale, they were 27.00(approx) and originally they were 80.00. I love them, I have them in black as well.
The weather is really cool today in my area, considering it was 88 degrees on Saturday, and now the high was around 64 today.
Ok, when I saw what happened to Chris Brown on GMA I was PISSED! I love Robin Roberts, but she was dead wrong for continuing to bring up an obviously sore subjet to someone who is trying to move on with their life. I would have been mad too, however I do belive that he could have handled it better, I get it. I had already purchased the album when the melee occurred, and I still would have bought it even if I hadn’t.
I must tell you that Chris Brown has put out another great album. Just as great as Graffitti was, of course it didn’t get the play it deserved due to what was going on with the Rihanna/Chris situation.
The album is full of all types of music from Urban to R&B to Dance/Europop, everything is there. Go out and support it(or stay in and download it from iTunes!).

Ok, I bought my first Adele cd on release day. She is awesome, very soulful. For some reason I have a fascination with artists from abroad. Marsha Ambrosius, Estelle, and now Adele. Her voice definitely transcends her age. I have to really listen to it more often this week, as most days I’m looking for uptempo music to keep the day moving along, but I promise to listen to this CD more this week.
It is definitely one of the best CDs of this short year so far, so go out and give it a listen.

If you don’t know who that is, she is the singer of the former group Floetry. I absolutely loved Floetry, and now I”m in love with Marsha by herself! The album is a great mix of mid tempo and ballads. Go out and cop it if you don’t have it already. If you like R&B, dance music, LOVE music, this is the CD for you. Isn’t the album cover gorgeous…

I bought this dress in the fall at Ross. I love it! As you will see, when I actually post all of these outfit posts, I LOVE DRESSES! I try to wear one or two a week. And I find it almost impossible not to wear one to church on Sundays!
This dress has an empire waist, puff short sleeves, and an A-Line skirt. I paired it with my favorite pair of boots, they are Nine West, and I’ve had them for years. They were originally a very light cognac color, but have aged over the years. I love them.
The sweater I have on is a green cable cropped sweater. It came from Forever 21 probably 5 years ago. Again, if I love something I love i…don’t judge me!
I wore this back in January when we were still in winter. Thank goodness its been much warmer lately!
